One lot is 100,000 base-currency units. A conversion rate is needed when quote and account currencies differ. Table rows without a rate show an em dash.
| Pair | Pip size | Per standard lot | Your position |
|---|---|---|---|
| EURUSD | 0.0001 | USD 10.00 | USD 10.00 |
| GBPUSD | 0.0001 | USD 10.00 | USD 10.00 |
| AUDUSD | 0.0001 | USD 10.00 | USD 10.00 |
| USDJPY | 0.01 | — | — |
| USDCHF | 0.0001 | — | — |
This calculator uses a price step of 0.0001 for the listed non-JPY pairs and 0.01 for USDJPY. Multiplying that step by the position’s base-currency units gives its quote-currency value.
USDJPY uses a pip size of 0.01. Its pip value is in yen before conversion. A different account currency requires the account-currency units for ONE yen as an input.
Pip value is proportional to position size. Doubling the lots doubles the base-currency units and the value of each pip, with the same conversion rate.
