This page tells you which links on BrokerCheck are affiliate links and what that means for you.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a link to a broker, prop firm or platform that lets the provider see that a visitor came from BrokerCheck. If you click an affiliate link and then register or make a purchase, BrokerCheck may receive a referral fee.
Which links are affiliate links
BrokerCheck uses affiliate links whenever possible. It is safe to assume that when you click on a link to a broker, prop firm or platform, it is an affiliate link. In the code of our pages these links are marked as sponsored links.
Who we are
BrokerCheck is owned by TRADE-REX e.K. The site may contain advertising, sponsored content, paid listings, affiliate links or other forms of monetization.
Paid content is labelled
Advertising space, sponsored content or paid contributions are clearly marked as paid or sponsored when they are present. Remuneration received may influence the advertising content, topics or contributions on this website, and we label that content so that you can tell it apart.
What does not change
Our ratings and reviews follow the published methodology. Our evaluations of brokers are independent of any financial compensation from brokerages. For prop firm scores, affiliate compensation is not part of the calculation.
The views and opinions on BrokerCheck are solely those of its authors. We only endorse products or services that we believe merit such endorsement.
Your own check
Claims, statistics, offers and other statements about a product or service should be checked with the relevant provider. Please read the disclaimer and the risk disclosure before you take any action.
