Who runs BrokerCheck

Who writes and who checks
Every review is written by one member of our team and fact-checked by another, and both names appear on the review together with the date it was last updated. Our reviews are written and checked by Florian Fendt, CEO and Co-Founder, and Arsam Javed, our Trading Expert. Each of them has a short profile on the team page, so you can see who is speaking.
The views and opinions on the site are those of its authors. We only endorse products or services that we believe deserve it.
How we rate
Ratings follow a published method that is applied in the same way to every broker or firm. Broker ratings combine eight areas: fees and costs, security and regulation, deposit and withdrawal options, trading platforms, the account opening process, product offerings, customer service, and education and resources. Prop firm scores measure how completely and clearly a firm publishes its terms, using six weighted areas.

Independence
Our evaluations are independent of any financial compensation from brokerages. Some links on the site are affiliate links, and we explain this openly on the pages How we make money and Affiliate disclosure. Content that is paid for or sponsored is clearly marked as such.
Keeping content up to date
We continuously update our recommendations and refine our evaluation process, so that readers have access to current information. Reviews show the date of their latest update. When we correct a page, the updated date changes with it. Our corrections policy describes how errors are reported and fixed.
Claims, statistics and offers about a product or service should also be checked with the provider itself before you act. The analyses on BrokerCheck are for information only and cannot replace a discussion with a competent person.
